Because of Grindline's unique relationships with dozens of
skatepark design consultants (various partners we’ve
used on every design project to date) and CAD draftspeople,
we are currently available to begin design work immediately
on your skatepark project.
Typically it takes us fifteen days to prepare a complete
3-dimensional skatepark design submittal. We start with a
design meeting in your town where we brainstorm design
concepts with your team. Three weeks later we send you two
copies of five different perspective views of the proposed
park design on 24” x 36” paper. Your committee
then reviews the design and notes any changes or comments
you want us to consider, then sends us back the marked-up
copy.
Once we receive your team’s design suggestions, we
draft a final design schematic of the
“skatepark” portion of your park. This part of
the design is where we add cutting-edge technology computer
“rendering” of the final design (see Design
Submittal samples). We print five perspective views of this
park in full color on glossy 24” x 36” sheets.
These images can be publicly displayed for your local
community to better understand (and hopefully encourage
them to support) your skatepark project.
Once this conceptual design has been finalized, we begin
work on the construction documents. Generally this involves
working with locally licensed Landscape Architects who add
any necessary Civil Engineering and peripheral
architectural design. Together we draft detailed
construction specifications and create multiple
construction drawings, including all section and plan views
necessary for building permits. www.grindline.com
