We raised $19,000!
Thanks to everyone who attended last night’s fabulous event at Taylor's Automatic Refresher.
Over 500 Skatepark supporters attended!

Keep-It-Fresh
We could not have pulled it off without the support of Taylor’s Automatic Refresher, its staff and Duncan and Joel Gott!! Not only did Taylor’s Automatic Refresher provide us with the perfect venue, great food and friendly staff, it also contributed 10% of the evening’s proceeds to the Skatepark. The Gott brothers then personally matched that amount. Wow!

Maureen Kelly did a tremendous job organizing the event and made sure so many of you were there (and bought raffle tickets). Thanks Maureen.

We raised $19,000. A large part of that money came from our very generous matching donors: Wine Country Inn, Boeschen Vineyards, Del Britton, Erna Schein - Behrens Family Winery, Kathy Carrick, St. Helena Dental Group, Silverado Federal Credit Union, VinelandStation.com, Anomaly Vineyards, Cakebread Cellars, Coombs & Dunlap, LLP, Findings – Maura Wilson Proprietor, Forni-Cartlidge Family, Health Spa Napa Valley, Joanne & Stefan Blicker and Smith’s Pharmacy.

Our raffle was a huge success, thanks to our great prizes. Kudos to St. Helena Cyclery, Heaven & Earth, Corison Winery, Bellezza, Smith’s Pharmacy and Palladium for their generosity.

All of us on the Skatepark Board continue to be moved by the outpouring of support for our Community’s Skatepark Project.

THANK YOU

Help us Break the $500,000 Mark!
We’re getting close… Thanks to a recent $5,000 individual donation, we’ve raised $491,000 to date. If you haven’t made a donation yet, now’s the time. Help us break the $500,000 mark. Send your tax free donation to St. Helena Skatepark, Inc., P.O. Box 1, St. Helena, CA 94574 – or you can donate on-line.

Permit Process is Moving Along
We’re just finishing up Phase II Cultural Resources and Hydrology reports. With those in place, the permitting process will move forward. Lighting, drainage and landscaping plans are in the works as well. Special thanks to the many professionals that continue to donate their services. Our latest donors are: Andy Simpson, Delta Consulting & Engineering (civil engineering); Ernie Heine, Professional Engineer Associates (lighting); Jack Chandler, Chandler & Chandler (landscaping); and Steve Ebersole, Ebersole Construction (billboard).

Save the Date
Join us at the Taylor’s Back to School Skatepark Fundraiser on September 25th, 4:00-8:30 pm. Taylor’s will donate 10% of the evening’s proceeds to the Skatepark. We’ll have a raffle, t-shirt sales and lots of great food. If your business is interested in matching the evening’s proceeds with a corporate donation, please call Denise Smith at 963-8712 or contact us by email. We are looking for business sponsors to match up to $1,000 – it’s a great way to support the Skatepark.

Special thanks
To Alex, Easton, Beau, Alexander, Dominic, Carson, Stephen, Will, Sammy, Kent, Aaron, Douglas, Daphne and Mason for the donations of proceeds at their lemonade and cookie stand.
