This is preceded by the short film Anger & In-Dig-Nation, an antiwar film. Visuals at http://www.wcff.us/event3.asp. Tickets are $5.00 per person.

The afternoon will also feature Keith Williams, a teacher from Oakland who will be guiding the creation of a mural and painting of skateboards as well.

Skaters of all ages are encouraged to participate in our St. Helena Skatepark “Float” at the Calistoga Parade. Ric Henry will drive his convertible and we’ll have a flatbed truck to carry rails and ramps for skating demonstrations during breaks in the parade (on the street, not on the truck.)

So put on your helmet and Skatepark t-shirt and meet us at the parade!
When: July 4, 2007, no later than 10:30, parade starts at 11:00.
Where: Cedar Street in Calistoga, once you let us know you’re coming, we’ll give you cell phone numbers to track us down.
What to Bring: A Skatepark or plain white t-shirt, water and your helmet.
Who: Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t skate. If you want to walk, pull a wagon or ride a trike, it’s okay with us.
Need a Ride? We'll get you there.

Summer Campers Raise Funds

While attending a summer camp at the home of John and Sharon Harris in St. Helena, these kids decided to raise money for the new Skatepark by selling lemonade and homemade cookies outside the farmer’s market. Their donation of $252 is very much appreciated!
